Sources
- AI answers. Collected from Claude, by Anthropic, with web search on, in separate single-question sessions with no history and no personalisation. The set of questions is frozen for each edition. Each answer is stored with its date and model version. Other systems may be added in later editions and will be named here.
- Classification. Every sentence about a house is classified by the same AI system under a fixed written rubric, with a sample checked by the author each edition.
- Calibration. The atlas of luxury brands, Branded Brands, Style Taxonomy v0.4: 180 houses scored by the author on fourteen axes of style, with an editorial desire score per house. brandedbrands.co
- House facts. Sector, group and headquarters as stated by each house in its own public materials. No revenue figure is used anywhere in the index.

Quote a position, a score or a verdict freely, with the name of the index and the author. If a house's position is quoted, quote the edition date with it: positions move.

The verdict lines and the text of this site are the author's writing and may be quoted with attribution.
